What's in some of the Hormel pork you eat?

I get madder every day about not only our great leaders around the world are doing and not doing, but what we're being fed, what we're breathing, and what we drink, hence the name of my blog.
I bought a small Hormel pre-seasoned pork roast this week and cooked it last night. It didn't smell like good old pork roast I've cooked and eaten my whole life. When I sliced it, it didn't look like normal pork meat either. Not only was the actual muscle consistency wrong, it had a lot of these little holes, like air holes, in it, like if I had thinly sliced it on a deli machine, it would have looked similar to Swiss cheese. So I sent Hormel an email asking what was wrong with this roast, if it was genetically engineered to make it so soft. Here is their actual reply:

Thank you for contacting us regarding Always Tender products.

Yeah, that's just what you need -- coupons so you can buy more of what you didn't like in the first place. Yuck!
